Kiosk Question

Hi,
Just a quick question about the kiosks in the parks. Our intention was to visit Hollywood studios in the am and Epcot in the pm. When we use the kiosks at DHS, will they give us access to Epcot rides as well or do they only let you reserve fastpasses for the park that you are currently located in? I know that we cannot reserve fastpasses for two different parks in one day. We would like to standby DHS at rope drop and then use out fast passes at Epcot later in the day. We will be staying with family so we understand that we cannot reserve them in advance. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks!

A good question I don't think I've seen asked before.

I presume they only let you reserve rides in your current park, but don't know for sure.

There is a YouTube video that shows the kiosk screens and one of the choices is additional experiences. This may apply to your situation in hopping to another park and scheduling the Fp+ for the second park.

This is from wdwmagic.com
There will also be full self-service kiosks giving guests access to the entire My Disney Experience site at Town Square Theatre in the Magic Kingdom, and at Guest Relations in the other three parks and Downtown Disney.

Thanks, I watched the Youtube video and it looks like alternate selections only brings you to a different day rather than a different park. If anyone who has been to the world since the kiosks have been working, can answer this questions, please feel free to chime in. Thanks again:-)

Sorry to hijack, but I was also wondering....I know the FP+ allows you to choose 3 ahead of time....do the kiosks allow you to chose more, or if you've already got three stored on your profile, you don't get anymore.

For instance, it would be cool to use FP+ 60 days in advance for your morning park, and then at night use the kiosk for a different park.

No, it is 3 per day! At this point no additional can be added. That would be nice!!

When is your planned visit? I just realized I will be in the parks in less than a month and don't mind experimenting for you. :) And, I can ask at the kiosks with full MDE access if an offsite guest can access all parks from those specific kiosks.

I did notice that kiosk videos in December show more functions than what they did in August.

Thank you very much for the offer! We are heading down for a family event this weekend. Being able to visit the world for a day is a bonus. Hopefully someone who is there now will be able to answer my question. If not, I will be sure to post the answer when I return.

If it is not possible to make fast past selections from different parks, I don't see why anyone would want to pay extra for a parkhopper???

Thanks again for the offer:)

Another DISer posted the CMs are well aware of the park hopping issue and will be addressing it during this "test."

The poster advised to go to a kiosk that was farther back in the park to attempt to access Fp+ for another park. I think it would be best to ask the first iPad CM that you see. I hope this works for you and you have a fun day! :)
