Kingdom Keepers VS. Descendants?

Ok I know there are about 7 KK books out there, i beleive i have 5 of them but for years I have been stuck on book 2 its so slow in the beginning and i can't seem to ever finish it.....
I know there is another Disney type book out there is that the Descendants?
Can someone give me any opinions??

I don't know about the descendants, but I think there is a new line of KK books coming out. That said, I also got stuck on book 2. It just did not engage me the way the original did. I can't imagine that the actual target audience really got into it either.

I keep saying I'm going to read it again and I never pick it up but I really want to get through all the books because everyone says they're really good I just don't know what it is about book two

You just have to push through because once you get through the start of book 2, yes they get really great. I'm on book #7 now and only started reading them in October!

It's been so long since I read KK2, I don't remember it being that slow. My biggest struggles were books 5 and 6.
