are there any stores in WDW that sell any Kingdom Hearts merchandise? My 2 boys have both of the PS2 games and the one for GBA. They love them. When we went to WDW in APril, we didn't really have time to look, we were too busy for a lot of shopping, lol. But when my dh and I go back in June for our anniversary I would love to bring the boys back something Kingdom Hearts. Thanks in advance.

My dh loves Kingdom Hearts, every time we have gone down we have asked almost every cast member we saw if anywhere sells merchandise or when they will be getting anything in? And the answer is always, they do not sell any merchandise and they dont know anything about getting it in. He was so disappointed! I would try e-bay for anything Kingdom Hearts. But if we hear anything about that status changing we will let you know! And Happy Anniversary!:tinker:

I wish they had the costumes. My boys want to be Sora and Mickey for Halloween. There was lots of great stuff on ebay last year but it is lots of money and most of it is made for adults.

What exactly is Kingdom Hearts?

MM:teacher:

A video game that combines Disney characters with, I believe, Final Fantasy characters (feel free to correct me if I'm wrong!).

ETA: YAY!!! I was right, it is Final Fantasy! Never thought I'd get anything right about video games lol! (Maybe the SIMS, but probably nothing else ;))

Kingdom Hearts is a Playstation2 console game, that combines Disney characters and Final Fantasy (another console game series), with original characters to form a new game universe. Kingdom Hearts, Chain of Memories (for the Gameboy), and Kingdom Hearts 2 are the extent of the franchise thus far.

It's an action adventure game with real time combat (verus turn base) Wonderful graphics and great music.

*** unpatiently waiting for KH3 ***

too bad, I would think they would sell a lot of Kingdom Hearts merchandise.
my boys want kh3 too, my oldest said he is asking Santa for it, lol

This question comes up occasionally. It turns out that even though Disney characters are all over the game, Disney doesn't own the rights. As I recall, gamefreak or something like that owns those rights.

The only KH stuff I've seen for sale is the actual games.

When my boyfriend and I were there in Janaury we stumbled upon a couple of figurines for Final Fantasy and I am almost certain Kingdom Hearts because I got excited to see it in the parks.

It was the Japanese store in Epcot below the hibachi type restaraunt (can't remember the name, even though we ate there!). Its the store where you can pick the pearls and near that section of the store. Everything was in a case and overpriced. I bought my boyfriend one of the figurines they had last July at ComicCon in San Diego (big huge comic book, movie, video game convention) from the Square-Enix store for $35 less than what the store in Epcot was selling it for.

But if they are still selling them, it may give you something to bring back -- its sad to not see Kingdom Hearts in the parks -- its the only video game I have passed all by myself and I love it!

I've got good news! In June, 2006, we bought a Kingdom Hearts Game Boy Advance game at the store at the exit of Space Mountain. We also bought a Kingtom Hearts Playstation 2 game at the Virgin Mega Store at Downtown Disney. Take the escalator at the Virgin Mega Store and turn to your left. Go a little ways and turn left again. Go all the way back until you are looking down onto the main store area (everything is glassed in and it creeps me out 'cause I am afraid of heights). They had a lot of Kingdom Heart stuff there. I think they had some trading cards and some cd's as well as the games. I sure hope that they are still there as my 9 year old is just itching to go back in June, 2007!

Yep, back in October I was looking forward to finding some KH stuff. All I found were a few figures along with the Final Fantasy stuff in Japan. I also agree that it was overpriced. They are the same Square-Enix figures you can find at any local Comic Book store, EB Games, or Game Stop. I was also dissapointed in how little Miyazaki stuff they had in Epcot/Japan considering that Disney distributes a lot of his work in the US. They had no Totoro merch at all (except for the movies). I guess Disney doesn't want to promote anything that isn't getting 100% of the royalties :confused3

On the plus side, I did see someone with a great Organization XIII (from KHII) outift at WDW on Halloween.

The KH characters only came out during MNSSHP in 2005. Maybe they'll come back out with the release of KH3.

Here's one hoping.
