King Triton's Palace - Formosa Gardens?

Anyone have any experience staying at King Triton's Palace in Formosa Gardens?

Planning a trip with my kids and grandkids in April 2012.

Other suggestions for 7-8 bedrooms ("themed" kids rooms preferred) welcome!

I have not stayed there but that was in our top 2 for this trip. We ended up going with another place because we got a better deal. Hope someone else can give you some feedback!

I just ran across your post from June regarding King Triton's Palace in Orlando. We just finished up a stay (7/9 thru 7/16/2011) and love it. We rented it with part of my extended family. Our youngest was 7 and the oldest kid was 16. We also had 6 adults. I cannot say enough great things about this house. If you have babies or toddlers there are toys, stollers, high chairs, baby monitors, cribs, kitchen ware all for them. For our age group the pool was great along with the air hockey table and arcade machine. There are pool alarms on every door leading to the pool deck plus built in baby gates at top and bottom of the stairs. The pool itself is great because you can have toddlers enter the one side of it that stays at a 12" depth giving them plenty of room to play. The other part of the pool is about 6 ' at its deepest for the swimmers in the group. The kitchen is amazing and has everything you could ever need. The beds are very comfortable and the place is very well maintained. The owners are very responsive and provide an onsite contact when you pay your rental in full. You will love this house, I can't recommend it or its owners enough!! Have fun!!! I only wish we were going back again soon and staying here!!!

You will not be disappointed!

We were the extended family there with Schlammy July 9th thru 16th. Our family of 5 probably spent more time at the house than they did. My kids did not want to leave the house!

Just a few notes too. There is a different tv in the family room, a little more modern other than the rear projection that used to be on the website. The media room had a larger tv as well. There was also an arcade room the the family room with offeredt more than 40 games to play. All doors leading to the pool area have child protection features.

We had a blast!
