The only way we're going to be able to afford Disney this year (maybe) is if I downgrade from a moderate to a value resort :(. I'm actually fine with it except for the beds. I REALLY have a problem sleeping in anything smaller than a queen bed. Does anyone know if its possible to get a rollaway bed in a king room?? For some reason I think there's a problem with that, but I'm not sure why?? Thanks!

Well, you did not say how many are in your party, but King bed rooms only have an occupancy of 2 plus one under 3. So that may be the problem you are thinking about.

Also, I know POR and POFQ have done away with the rollaways, since converting to queen sized beds. The rollaways no longer fit in the rooms with two queen sized beds.

For CSR that's not true because they allowed us to have a roll-a-way with the two queen beds, just can't go over 4 people at CSR.

You can go up to 4 in a queen room. King rooms have a max occupancy of 2 plus one under 3 years old.

The OP is over the room occupancy limit for a King room at a value resort.

Your best option may be to look into renting DVC points. The studios can sleep 4 guests and you get a queen bed and deluxe accommodations. You can rent points for a studio for the same price, or less in some cases, as paying for a moderate room.

It's not by hotel, it's by building and room as to whether a rollaway is allowed in any room. It's based solely on fire codes.
