We ate there in October & i think i posted a review but if not its in my TR
We really liked it. I had the house pizza & it was lovely & both kids loved their mains. Very nice and good value. Great if you love meat.

This is another place we haven't been and there are so few reviews. But I like their menu. And it's in the village, so we can have dinner in the evening there.

We visited a few times during our last visit in May 2013. We only had a few bar snacks, so can't really help you food wise, but if you go between 5-7pm its 2 for 1 on drinks! Just by sheer coincidence, we seems to manage to get there aroung 5.01pm....

We ate there in December (a first for me) and it was really nice. We both had the schnitzel.

We ate there in January because we never been there.

As a German I only want to say something about the food quality not if a castle and knights are typical German :rotfl2:

We had the Dish of the Day which was fish and rice and it was great.

Very good price for what you get.

:thumbsup2

We went in December as the menu had something all four of us would like. Plus hubby liked the 2 for 1 on the beer! LOL

Had a great meal and we were lucky to get seated just before the huge influx of people turned up just after Dreams finished. The pizza was so large that DS and DD could have shared it - DS still seemed to manage it though! I had a really lovely steak.

We will be going back in just over two weeks as I think my MIL will like it too.

Oh, so the pizzas are big enough to share? Like for two kids?

Isila, I would say so. My DS is 15 and my DD is 12 and 1 pizza, a portion of chips and a side would have been fine between them. They would have insisted on a dessert each though! :lmao:

The pizza was of the stonebaked, quite flat type, but very tasty.

Another place we share meals at is Fuente Del Oro at lunchtime. We buy a mix and match of Menu 1 - (chilli con carne, nachos & drink), Menu 2 - (Chicken Enchilada, Cheddar cheese sauce, Mexican rice, Chuurros & drink) and Menu 3 - Chicken Fajitas, Mexican rice, a Magnum ice cream and a drink). With Dream AP discount it comes to just over 33 euros for lunch for four. My son and DH can really eat too! That is just over 8 euros each!

We do similar at Hakuna Matata too. Toad Hall is another goodie as well as Pizzeria Bella Notte. I figure if that is enough for what is effectively 4 adults, then if your kids are younger, they will be fine.

I've got 2 boys age 5 and 8, fussy eaters. And they don't eat much. At Colinel's pizza outpost I usualy order menu 1 with pasta and menu 3 with pizza salad and dessert. Kids share pizza, take a bite of garlic bread and "try" the dessert. I get salad and pasta and have to finish what's left. I try to do this at every restaurant we go to. I don't want to order food and then throw it out. And pay for something they don't eat.
Never tried fuente del oro as I am thinking kids might not like it.

My hubby and I ate there unexpectedly in Oct, it wasn't planned, we just needed to eat and were able to be seated here when other places had queues for them!

I has a Brezel burger and Hubby had a pizza (which was huge!) and really enjoyed them both, very yummy and large portions.

Hubby also enjoyed the beer which I think is among the cheapest at DLP - I don't drink beer but lots of people were and hubby enjoyed his...I believe you can get a metre of beer for a resonable price 20 Euro maybe?!

Anyway I would definately eat here again and the theming of the resturant was great!

King Ludwigs is fab. Me and hubby never ate there when we previously went on our own, but went with DS who was 23 months at the time. We went during the parade, as the little fella likes to eat his main around 5ish, and it was fairly empty and nice and relaxed. I had a pasta meal (some kind of onion based) and it was delish. Hubby had the half roast chicken and baba had a kids shepards pie with peas that was perfect size for him! It was very good value for money very tasty and will definitely be visiting again on our next trip!

I like their kids menu options. I'd like to get one for myself :lmao:

This is one place we've never tried.. we just think the place feels like a food hall with no atmosphere, compared to the rainforest :(

But it has a happy hour on drinks.....eat after and you might not notice the lack of atmosphere haha!

After the reviews I'm adding this to meal plan.

After last bad meal at rainforest cafe and doubt if atmosphere would do it for me.
