Unfortunately it's only in Universal Studios Hollywood. I never got to see the original Kong attraction at either park.

Also worth mentioning, the USH King Kong that is returning is not the Kongfrotation that we knew and loved, it is just a new part of the tram tour. While I heard it is impressive, and saw some videos of testing, I believe most of it is just on video screens.

The original King Kong in Hollywood was always a part of the tram tour. Just like Earthquake, Jaws, Bates Motel/Psycho House and more. When Universal in Orlando was built, they took the attractions from the tram and made separate rides out of King Kong, Jaws, and Earthquake.

The new King Kong will be 3D video with the tram on a motion platform. King Kong will fight the dinosaurs from the recent remake, jumping over the tram, etc.

When I said "the kong we all knew and loved", I meant the one from UO, I knew that there was never kongfratation at USH. But thank you for clearing up exactly what the new one was, I saw a video of testing with giant screens next to a mock-up of the tram.
