King beds at values?

I saw online that Pop has the possibility of a king room but the All stars don't? It's just my husband and I with our baby so I'm wondering if we can request a king if we book online? I don't want to take a handicap room from someone who needs it though. Are there any standard King rooms? Thanks!

Pop does have some King rooms, but you can't book them. I don't believe you can request them online either , I think you have to call to request it, which they will note on your reservation. I believe all if the values have a few! We requested a king room and POP during value season in February and we did not get it. I think they are few and far between and most of them are handicap rooms. King bed rooms are a booking category in the moderates though.

Yes, there are standard King rooms at the All Stars. But as @Jetta8300 said, they are by request only and you have to call and add that request.

As others have said, all resorts have king bed rooms but your child will need to be under the age of three to request one. As far as taking a handicapped room from someone else who needs it - you won't be. Handicapped rooms are generally "put aside" for those who need them for that reason. I am NOT saying they are guaranteed but if a person calls or makes a request for a handicapped room because they are in a wheelchair or need one for medical reasons, that's going to have a higher priority than your request.

So, make your reservation wherever you want, then call and request a king bed room (assuming your child is under the age of three and will be sleeping in the Pack and Play) and that's all you need to do. You may or may not get your request.

DH and I had a King bed at ASMu (in Calypso section, Preferred room I believe)
We used the Touring Plans fax service to request it since I am loath to call Disney unless forced to

I stay at Music every year and I have always had a King. Prior to our arrival I do the on line check in and request a room with a king. They have never let me down. 30 more days.
