King bed

Hello! We are heading to Epcot for the day and staying on property for the night. My question is do I have to book a preferred room to request a king bed? What is the chances of getting a king bed?

Oh, I guess I should add we are wanting to stay in a value to make it as cheap as possible.

Any help would be great!

King units are only bookable at Moderate resorts. At Mods, it is not a request, but a booking.

At a DVC resort, you have to book a 1BR to get a King bed.

At a Value, it's not a matter of Standard/Preferred. It is a pure request, and not guaranteed. Many of the King units are ADA as well, which means you trade the larger bed for a HA bathroom. Chances at a King at a Value are pretty low, based on proportion of rooms with Kings.

But most of them are NOT HA, so that's a plus.

I think the bulk of them at Pop are HA. There are maybe 5-8 per building.
