King Bed Room=Preferred?

When I booked my stay at CBR, I booked a King Bed room. I paid for the room, the extra charge for a king, not a standard. I've already paid the trip off, and on the Hotel Vouchers says King Bed Room. I also requested Martinique. My question is, I've been reading about how at CBR you want to get a preferred room, is that a King room? I know I paid a higher price than the standard room. I'm just confused about what a preferred room is. Lake/Beach view I'm guessing.

A preferred room at CBR means a room guaranteed to be closer to Old Port Royale which is in either Martinique or Trinidad North. Old Port Royale is the food court and shops and the main pool is right outside with a pool bar and hot tub. We paid extra for the preferred room and although we requested Martinique we got Trinidad North and we loved it. We did not have a king bed but we requested to be close to the bus stop and that was great after a long day at the parks. Our view was nothing special but it did not matter to us.

Have fun at CBR,

Loralie
