King’s Inn or Alpine Inn?

For a budget stay with not too long of a walk, does anyone have preferences for Alpine or Kings Inn? Three adults traveling, doing a day in each park. I have reservations for both for 3 nights in late July. I have never stayed at either! (Yay for us out-of-staters being allowed back! Boo for having a busy summer planned already and having to wait 6 weeks to make a trip!)

My BFF and I stayed at Alpine Inn during TOD for one night and thank goodness it wasn't longer. The rooms are extremely basic. However, THERE WAS HAIR IN MY BED. It wasn't my hair, and there was a lot of it. We were changing sheets at midnight. Then, the next morning, I shook out what I thought was a clean towel and another wad of hair flew out. It was gross. They said it was because the commercial laundry dryer they have broke down and they were using the dryer for people who were staying, so hopefully the situation is resolved now, but I will NEVER EVER stay there again.

I've never stayed at Alpine Inn, but I really liked Kings Inn when I stayed in January 2020! Rooms were plain but clean, and they had a breakfast buffet with a waffle maker
