Kindle at Target

Just thought I'd share this will you all. I was at one of our local Target stores today and starting tomorrow, June 6th, they will be selling the Kindle e-reader. I did not see which one(s) they will have available, but since prospective buyers can see and feel it before buying now, I would think sales will grow

The Target near me in Melbourne, FL has been selling Kindles for about 2 weeks. I was SOOO EXCITED when I saw it in the store. The demo model doesn't do much, but it's the right size and weight. I got to see Kevin's kindle at the DisMeet in December last year and have wanted one ever since. I agree that being able to hold it and feel it makes all the difference in the world.

I think it will up the sales-my non-techy but bookworm mom has been intersted but unwilling to bite sight unseen...maybe checking one out at Target would help.

Keep in mind that there are rumors (fairly confident, though) that there is a new version of the Kindle coming out in August. Suppose to be thinner, faster, sharper screen, and a touch screen to top it all off.

It's such a good idea to have a physical display where prospective buyers can actually see and use the Kindle before purchasing one. I've been looking at getting one for a while now, and this just might be the push I need.
