Kinda ticked about holiday shopping...

I just need to let lose some very, very minor steam.

I finished my holiday shopping yesterday and got 3 of the 3 presents I needed in under 40 minutes. I had a $50 gift card for American Eagle so I decided to buy something for me. I got three things and the total came out to $50 and some change. Plus because it was a purchase using a gift card, I was supposed to get a free $10 money card.

I get home and there's no money card in the bag, and the cashier did NOT hand it to my mom or myself. I look at the receipt and they overcharged me by $15!! It was supposed to be 24.95 from 49.50, 2.95 from 7.50, and 9.95 from 19.95 (the special was buy one get one half off). I mean, it's not like I would've been able to spend that $15 elsewhere because it was on the gift card.

But still, I'm ticked. That's $25 they owe me! I really don't want to have to make another trip to the mall this week but I guess I have no choice. Bah humbug. :santa:
 
I'm sorry about that, be sure to go back to the store, get your money back, and express that your upset about the incident
 

UGH! that SUCKS!!!!!!! i hope they don't give you a hard time if/when you go back!!! Maybe it was a new person/temp.

The temps at my store are SOOOO irritating! I know it's not their fault, but so so many times they don't think about some stuff and I have to fix it and deal with angry customers.
We have our videogames in display cases so when someone brings one up you go get them a new one from the back. But 40% of the time temps forget to give them the new one and send someone home with an empty display case, and then obviously we get angry phone calls (i'd be PISSED too!!) :headache:

Anyways, I hope you get it all sorted out!!!
 
Sounds like what happened to us the other day..
My mom and I were shopping at Walmart and she paid for her stuff and should've gotten $20 back. We left and went to Chipotle and she realized the lady never gave her her change. So we called the store and they checked the drawer and sure enough the money was still in the drawer. But we got got it back no problem and they were very helpful (:
 
Nope, they wouldn't give me back my money. They said the 24.95 and 19.99 were only on "select styles". Select styles my rear because they weren't marked! Believe me, I am VERY angry with American Eagle, which is a shame because I love their stuff!
 
I would've started ranting and raving very loudly. The squeaky wheel gets the grease.

I did just now. I just reminded them I was disappointed with their service at that particular location. Who knows what I'm going to hear back, if I do at all.
