My son and I found this site the other day by accident
www.thetoymaker.com
and have been having a blast with it. It is all stuff you print out on a regular printer and cut and fold into different things - he made his friend a birthday card, made a box that looks like a frog, he had a friend over and made little boats that he and his friend raced by blowing them along the floor, and something called a "skip counter" that helps you counting by 2's, 3's 4's etc etc
so now he is addicted and had me try to find some other sites and I came up with some really cool ones...
lots of neat stuff:
http://cp.c-ij.com/english/3D-papercraft/index.html
castles:
http://www.buildmodelcastles.com/html/castles.html
origami
http://www.tammyyee.com/origami.html
and oh my gosh - look at the stuff on this one!
http://www.yamaha-motor.co.jp/global/entertainment/papercraft/
we are not up to this level yet, to say the least
Best of all - they are all free!
we are working on a rhino tonight, but I would love to see if anyone else is doing these and please share some pics!
