I was in the middle of dinner, when all of a sudden I was burping up a bit of vomit. It has me completely freaked out. I've never had this happen before. Is this the start of some flu? I am out of the county on business and am a bit panicked. Googling doesn't seem to come up with anything...

thx.

It probably just means your stomach is getting old and it can't hold your enormous meals in any more! :rotfl2:

I am sure you were probably just passing a gas bubble or something! ;)

I've done it before. It usually happens when I've eaten too fast or when I eat something spicy. I don't think it's anything to worry about, but I'm not a medical professional.

I deleted my post....
Oh, you are not! I affectionately tease because I think you are just fine! But, that doesn't mean you won't come down with the flu next week!! pirate:

Thanks. I feel like an idiot now. I guess I am just so afraid of vomit, that I totally panicked. I have eaten quite a bit of fattening food this week: Just today I ate more fat then ever in my life. LOL.

Thx

I deleted it and then brought it back. I posted then felt like a dork. LOL. I'm cool. :rotfl2:

Sounds just like reflux... if it happens too often, talk to you doctor, it's not good for your esophagus....

You're cool! Whatever you had....it sure sounds good!

I have done this my whole life. Not every day or even every week but occasionally. I have friends who do to - so much that we call them vurps for "vomit burps" between ourselves.
