Kind of OT -- Hubby got hit again!!!

So, my husband went to the cell phone company to pick up a new phone. As he's leaving there, someone backs into his car!!!

Background --

1. May 2009 -- he rear-ended someone (on the street)
2. June 2009 -- a co-worker backs into his car leaving work (parking lot)
3. June 2009 -- someone else rear-ends him (on the street)
4. July 2009 -- major hail storm -- $5,300 damage (after deductible)
5. September 2009 -- finally get all damage fixed, paying Out Of Pocket for the May incident
6. December 2009 -- while he is at work, someone tried to park in the space he was parked in, running into the back of his car, and then flees. Luckily, another customer (he works at a resaurant) saw it happen and got a tag # and we were able to file a claim and get it fixed -- no thanks to the police department, since it happened in a parking lot (and they don't investigate that -- even though we had the tag number).

And now today, he was leaving a parking lot and someone backed into him again!!

He needs to sell that flipping car!

My mom had a Pontiac Grand Am and we lost count of the number of accidents she was in. People always said the same thing, they couldn't see her car. We figured it was a combination of the paint color and people who weren't paying attention. She loved that car, but even she thought that there was a hex on it.

His is a bright red Grand Prix, so if people can't see *that*, then they need their eyes checked!!

We have been talking about selling it, since we are close to Blue Book on payoff amount, and want something with smaller payments, in order to save some money. So, this is just further instilling that idea!
