Kind of off topic -- but I'll tie it in!

This doesn't have much to do with pins or pin trading, but I wanted to share this with my friends here. This is a project that my father and my husband (and some of their friends) have been working on for months, and I think they've done an amazing job. The inspiration for this project came from the train at Downtown Disney. Check it out -- you might have to hit refresh a couple of times to get all the pictures to load. You have to see the pictures at the bottom in order to see the finished project.

Okay, here's how I'll tie it in to this board - now that the train project is finished, my husband wants every Disney train pin that he can get to put on his engineer's cap. He's doing pretty good -- has about ten so far. thanks to Al and Robin and some other great people who made trades with us at the August pin celebration.

Cherry, amazing! wow! how neat! There is a lot of hard work & sweat labor in that train! Enjoy & sorry I do not have any train pins. I would however recommend the train tour at WDW if you all have not taken it yet.

:bounce: I wanna ride! That is really neat. I hate to think about the number of hours that went into it though - and the space required to store it! But, I bet it will be in high demand by all children (and adults) in the area.

Sorry I don't have pins for you, but that is really cool! :pinkbounce:

What a cool train! A lot of love went into that project. I think the guys are going to be bored now the train is complete. Like Barb, I'm curious...what will they build next??? :)

That is AWESOME!!!! Great work!!! I'm sure that will be the hit of the neighborhood!!! I too want a ride.

I'd vote for Capt. Hook's Pirate ship next!

I have 3 train pins for trade.

#4382 Train Station Slider
#5643 Goofy ELP Train
#7044 Japan 100 Yrs. 3 Pin Train

Let me know if you need any of them.

I may be able to get #4243 Casey Jr. if you need that one.

This is so cool. they did a great job. How will they use this. Are they just going to drive around the neighborhood... go to the store....
