more a list of the good, the bad, and the really bad! I just got back Wednesday from spending 5 nights at the World with my sis, her 3 kids and her hubby. A good time was had by all, and we took advantage of the in-room offer and booked for this October!
Hopefully once my sis gets the kids school schedules for this fall the dates will work, and we can start planning for real!
The Good--ASMu. There are 6 of us, and we travel together often. We know that non-connecting rooms don't work out too well, so we booked a family suite. Didn't want to risk not getting connecting rooms. Sis, her hubby, and their youngest daughter (age 7) slept in the bedroom part. I slept on one fold out with my oldest niece (age 13), and my 16yr old nephew slept on another fold out. The fold out was a little hard for my liking, plus it did sag a little in the middle. But I am used to being beaten up by my niece while sleeping, we share beds a lot on vacation, so it was all ok. Having 2 bathrooms and a kitchenette was definately nice. We had some groceries delivered, and had breakfast in the room 4 out of the 5 mornings. Which, besides being a definate money saver, is definately a time saver too.
I'm all about getting up and getting to the parks in the morning. I'm definately an early riser, especially compared to sis and her group, who constantly grumble about my tendency to get up at 730 in the morning.
They are still doing the activites by the pool, which was neat too. Unfortunately we didn't have time to participate in anything, but it looked like a lot of fun. I really felt bad the one day I was walking by the pool and the CM was trying to play bingo. Nothing like calling out numbers and having all of the little kids in the pool screaming BINGO! at every call. I would have wanted to dunk them all!
They show movies every night by the pool too. It was fun to swim and watch The Little Mermaid at the same time. And the pool water was warm! I was pruny after only a little time in the pool. That could have been because the air temp was so warm, it was in the mid 90's for the first few days of our trip. But I like a warm pool, so it was much appreciated.
That's it for now! Be back soon!

My brother in law rode Tower of Terror 3 times in a row, with assorted family members, and that was a walk-on too. And Expedition Everest was a walk on, if you didn't mind using the single rider line. Which the guys did one day. They got 4 fast-passes which we girls used, and then they used the single rider line. It was great! The park looked busy, people-wise, but ride wait wise it was NOT!
