Kimye's New Baby Name

Kathryn Dennis & Thomas Ravenel's son is St. Julian (I don't know what they call him tho).
I don't think it's that bad.
Their baby was named after a civil war physician St. Julien Ravenel, who is one of Thomas’s ancestors and Kathryn’s grand father Rembert Dennis.

St. Julien Rembert Ravenel is a family name ...I like it.

Not by anyone with the authority to make you a saint. Naming someone a family name such as "St. John" is completely different than "Saint." That's even worse than the idiots who name their kids "Sir."
LOL, yup, or Jermajesty.

I know a St. John and he pronounces it the traditional British way, as "Sinjin".

I read that this was kind of a miracle baby for them, which is why they chose the name Saint. They had a very difficult time conceiving and when they finally did, the baby's due date was Christmas day. I don't care for the name (or them as people) but at least it has more of a meaning behind it than North, which is goofy.

Hmmmm, many DIS posters claim they want the K-family to go away, yet can't stop talking about them. And I suppose I'm just as guilty. :o

At least it's not as bad as the latest Duggar kid, Spurge, with those negative connotations. ;)

Their oldest is only 2 and a half. It couldn't have been all that difficult if she got pregnant when North was 18 months old.

What freaks! Saint is a bestowed-upon title, not a name.

Depends on how you use the word "saint". In Catholic dogma, it's a specific title. It's actually used in the Bible (well, translated from the Greek word "ἅγιος" or "hagios") to mean any holy person (or anyone who was sanctified by accepting the gift of grace through the death of Christ).

Ephesians 1:1 “Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, To the saints who are in Ephesus, and are faithful in Christ Jesus”
First Corinthians 1:2 “To the church of God that is in Corinth, to those sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints together with all those who in every place call upon the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, both their Lord and ours.”
Colossians 1:2 “Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, and Timothy our brother, To the saints and faithful brothers in Christ at Colossae: Grace to you and peace from God our Father.”

Here's an article about it: http://hollywoodlife.com/2015/06/02/kim-kardashian-kanye-west-pregnancy-struggle-ivf-treatment/

She had to have some surgeries to before trying, and eventually they went through fertility treatments. They also looked at options for using a surrogate. Kim is 35 so she didn't exactly have all the time in the world to keep trying. Sounds like took them a year or so before she conceived through IVF.

Well kinda appropriate since Kanye already thinks he's God, so why wouldn't his offspring be a Saint:cool::cool:
