Kimpton's Hotel and Spa on Vero Beach?

Has anyone ever been here? We are booked for the end of August for a few nights in addition to our Disney vacation. (I would have stayed with Disney, but my hubby and I are compromising) The website makes it look nice, but I would love to have feedback from someone who has been there. Any other suggestions for a family of 4 ( DD-7 and DD-4) would also be apprecitaed. We are looking for restaurant suggestions as well as kid friendly things to do. Thanks!

I have not stayed at this specific Kimpton hotel, but have stayed at many others in Chicago and New York.

Kimpton is, by far, our favorite family of hotels. Excellent service, small boutique hotel feel, spotlessly clean, good restaurants, and much more!

Every Kimpton property we've stayed at has been very consistant, so I'm sure the Vero Beach Resort and Spa will be no different!

We stayed in Sep2010. We loved it, they gave our DD4 a fish to look after and name, that just made her stay!!

The hotel was beautiful, the rooms are spotless and the staff are great!
They had 1 hour of complimentary wine and they gave out complimentary frozen grapes around the pool.

I would recommend to anyone and would not hesistate in returning!

The only negative point was the compulsary valet parking, I cant remember how much it was a day but I just thought it was a cheek to charge it when I could see our car from the lobby!

We went to a restraunt, think it was called citrus(?) right on the beach and a amazing food - 3 courses for a set price, each mouthful was scrummy so if you get a chance I recommend a visit.
