kimonos and karaoke

Has anyone gone to kimonos for sushi and done the karaoke? Is the sushi pretty good? Is it pretty crowded? Is the karaoke fairly busy? Does anyone know how it works. We have never been to a karaoke bar before. We just karoke in the privacy of our own home (losers, I know!). My husband is promising me that he is going to sing to me at Disney World for our anniversery. He has an amazing voice, but I am the only one who he lets hear it.

The sushi is wonderful! They were setting up for karaoke when I was leaving, so I can't tell you anything about that. But that sushi...

We also thought the sushi was good and my DH used to live in Japan. Didn't stick around for karaoke though. The restaurant is intimate and beautiful too!

We've done both the sushi and the karaoke at Kimonos. I'm a sushi freak and have never had a bad meal there. It's also the cheapest sushi on property.

As for the karaoke, the last time we were there (Dec. 03) it began at 9:00 pm. On the weekends it can get very crowded and very lively. We usually make fools out of ourselves (sake helps) and join in the fun.

we go at least once every trip. The sushi is excellent, and they have wonderful champagne cocktails, and of course Japanese beer The karaoke is fun...I guess it depends on the crowd. There is usually a good crowd. My husband really hams it up when we go, but I'm too chicken to sing.

Do you need a PS for this place or can you just walk in? Is it just for Swan guests?

I am not sure if they take PS as I just walk in. And I have not stayed at the Swan or Dolfin.
