A good friend of mine just got back from a Spring break Disney trip with her DD, 6 and 8. The first day they went to the Character Breakfast at Akershus and many of the little girls had princess dresses on so of course they wanted a princess dress too. princess:

They spent the rest of the day in Epcot and when they got to Japan, the DD fell in love with the Kimonos. My friend told them that they could get a Kimono or a Princess dress and they both picked the Kimonos and wore them the next day at CRT. :lovestruc

The girls said they wanted to look like Mulan, who is one of their favorite characters. I just wanted to share this story b/c it might give someone else a cute idea. Mulan is such a great role model for young girls too.

My DD16 also had this idea. So she called me on the phone for permission to charge one to my room. WOW Cost $85 and the waist wrap was another $35 and the socks $15. Oh ya and she also purchased one for her DF16 (who practically lives with us). I am surprised I didnt faint when I went to pay the daily charging bill. I pay my bill daily so it doesnt seem overwhelming to me at checkout. :rotfl: I took away her charging privileges for the rest of the trip. I had agreed to under $100 souvenier for the trip.

Ouch! I was figuring about $50 until I read your post. Was it an adult size? I am wondering if the ones for little girls are cheaper. . .and if they are authentic?
