Does anyone know if you can purchase a kimono in Japan in Epcot? And if so, about how much do they cost?

The department store in the Japanese Pavillion has a nice selection of sizes and colors in the back of the store. I've only "looked" and not bought so I don't remember the prices but they must have been reasonable since I tend to remember overpriced merchandise:)

I don't know how much the adult kimonos are but I did look at the child sizes and thought that they were really expensive (over 75 dollars for size 4). I would figure the adult sizes to be more. :)

I usually look at them, and I thought the adult ones were reasonable for silk. It's fun to look at them.

Over the years we've bought several and the prices ranged from about $50 for childrens sizes and went up to around $250 for adult ones. And all prices in between.
It really depended on the fabric and the design.

Thanks so much everyone! My daughter will be very excited. She has wanted one for ever and this year has collected quite a few gift cards for just that. We can't wait. It will be our 8th Disney trip, but our 1st one during the Christmas holidays.

If she's really into the "look", the store has the authentic clog type shoes and the socks---hair ornaments and fans, too.

I may have spent a little too much time in this store:goodvibes
