Maybe ArieSLR can tell us where she saw the reviews?Ah I guess I should read the whole thread![]()
I watched the review from AllEarsNet and I also saw someone else posted in The Rumors of Light thread that they read a bad review (but I'm not sure from where).Where did you find reviews? I've been wondering how the nighttime safari would be and how you would even be able to see much of anything. We've always had good luck with the safari first thing at rope drop I'm wondering if it's even worth trying.
The single rider line may be an option for you if EE doesn't open up.
See above post!Maybe ArieSLR can tell us where she saw the reviews?
Actually the more I think about it, I believe the poster @HopperFan saw a video of it and it was extremely low light....maybe she can verify this is the correct info. I don't want to misquote her.I watched the review from AllEarsNet and I also saw someone else posted in The Rumors of Light thread that they read a bad review (but I'm not sure from where).
The review I watched suggested doing KS at the "real" sunset time.I wonder if it will look better during sunset? This will make a LED screen look bigger with the twilight colors in the sky....

Yes, this is my exact plan but also my exact problem! So that real time would be right around 8:15pm on the first night May 27? I just switched our Safari FP time to 7-8pm because the only other choice was 7:45pm-8:45pm and I am taking a chance to leave that later time available to get a FP for the JB show. So hopefully JB show will be at 9, FP 8:25-8:45. We will go into the FP line for Safari right around 8pm, push it a few minutes past if we can (15 minute late grace period) so we can ride right around sunset. Then all we need is for them to add the later Everest times to get that FP around 9:30pm. But I'm worried they may do the JB show at 8:30pm or 8:45pm instead - that would throw a wrench in my plans for sure.
Thanks, @HopperFan !Many reviews (alot on twitter by bloggers) of first to see it were the difficulty in seeing animals, most won't have cameras that can get good pictures and lots of darkness. I'm thinking without color much of the beauty will be lost .......... but I'll still ride. I told DS the plus is knowing I probably can't get good pictures I'll just be able to enjoy without trying.
I think the real highlight is going to be the lions and the painted dogs (which I am stoked to see).
The lion was cool ...........but not much else was visible.
One of better ones .............this says NIGHTIME but clearly from the SKY above it was dusk, not night. Lighting therefore was good.
And if you listen folks had to be reminded to turn off their video lighting.....
Another where the highlight was the lions ...
I'm fairly certain it will...they just have to load them in. They are taking their sweet time though. For 6/7 there is still only Bug, Dino, and KS. No Kali or Whirl, either. Is there a good chance EE will have a later fast pass? Or is it a rumor.. AreilSRL and myself will be there during the same time.. hoping to do the same plan as everyone else.. right now I have 745 KS
Rumors are that people have been disappointed with KS at night. We have a FP for it at 9:55pm and plan on going ahead and trying it. It cant be that badI was wondering how well one can see on a nighttime safari, but we still want to do it. I switched my KS FP+ to 9:30pm, hoping to do a safari first thing in the morning, when the park opens. We also have FP+ for EE and Nemo. I'm planning to cancel Nemo and change to Jungle Book, if they offer a FP+ for that show.
