Has anyone taken a 2 year old on Kilimanjaro Safaris? I couldn't find out if there's a height restriction. I'm sure it's bumpy, do you think she would be better off if we used a baby carrier?
Thanks! :)

Sure, she will be fine. There's no height restriction, we've taken our child on it when he was 8 13 & 18 months. I'm ready to take him back now that he is 2. Our daughter also rode it when she was 2. Kids love this ride. Some of the drivers ask that small children not sit on the outside of the vehicle to avoid injury. Just hold on to her, its not that bad. Have fun and keep your camera ready! :wave:

::yes::
DS went on it at 9 months and 12 months with no problems at all. They do need to stay seated, we had a driver stop one time to ask a toddler to sit down who was standing on his/her mom's lap. I'm sure your DD will have a great time!

We took our DD on this ride when she was 14 months and again at 2. She loved it and had no problems sitting on one of our laps, although she did switch between us a couple of times.

Now I have a question for you.. how do you keep a 2 year old in a carrier?? As soon as my daughter started walking, that was the end of ours. How do you do it? :confused3

Awesome - thanks guys! I'm so glad she can enjoy this with us.

DISLOVE - We have a carrier my daughter LOVES - it's called the Ergo Baby Carrier. I think she loves it because you can use it with the baby on your back, kind of like a piggyback ride. The website is www.ergobabycarrier.com. I highly recommend it!

That looks like a cool carrier. It wouldn't be good for the Safari though. You are sitting on sort of shallow hard plastic bench seats
(if this works, it will be a picture of the bench seats from www.allearsnet.com )
With her behind you, you would be sitting on the edge of your seat and every bump (and it is pretty bumpy) would bump her back against the seat.

Our DS has loved the safari ride for a while now. He just turned 2 so it should be fine. Our only problem is getting him to turn quick enough to see the animals before we pass some of them. He is also getting to the place where he recognizes the animals and points them out to us before we actually get to them.
