Have these become really cheapy-chinzy? I bought dd a box of valentines for school, and they are thin little pieces of paper that you fold in the middle. The folded square is about a 2 inch square. Now I remember them being bigger, on thicker paper and coming with little envelopes when I was a kid. Did I just buy a cheap brand, or are they all like this?

Also, do you give anything to the teacher (preschool) for V-day?

You may have just gotten a cheap kind :goodvibes Most that I have seen have been the thicker paper/thin cardstock. But most do not come with envelopes, they all have little stickers to close. They all seem to have some gimmick now too, 3D, tattoos, stickers, pencils, suckers. Much more variety than just the paper valentines

We just do the fun dip packages now. They write directly on the candy packaging.

I love the fun dip ones but my ds picked out Star Wars ones. I will just tape a lollipop to it since it doesn't come with any gimmic.
And the teacher gets one too
