Kids treats - anyone done these?

While we're away next year it will be my DD1 birthday who will be turning 9. I've been reading about a couple of kid's activities that I thought might be a nice idea so I wondered if anyone had done any of these.

The pirate boat ride from GF which follows a map and clues and ends with finding some treasure.

Wonderland tea @ the GF. You have tea with the Alice in wonderland charactors and make and decorate cup cakes.

Another baking activity @ the GF where you decorate cakes and also decorate a chefs hat.

I'm thinking either one of the above which the girls will do on their own so DH & I could have a rare hour sitting and having a quiet drink. Or the family tour that has you following clues around MK park which leads to a meet and greet of the charactor related to that day's clues. I think it has you doing daft things around the park but sounds quite fun so currently stands in first place.

None of them are mega bucks and dont take up too much time so would be ideal just to slip into the holiday - obviously have to be booked way in advance! The top three have the added bonus of a trip to GF as we've never been to that resort.

Anyone done any of the above and if so what are your thoughts?

Our DDs 10 & 9 did the pirate cruise at POR in Aug. They really enjoyed it, they were given pink skull and crossbone bandanas to wear, a plastic cutlass and an eye patch. They also got a pirate goody bag when they opened the treasure chest at the end. Their pirate boat visited POFQ then OKW and DTD, they got off the boat at each of these places to look for clues. They also had fun hiding and making ghost noises as other boats passed them. I'm sure the GF pirate cruise will be very similar. We had a look around GF in Aug, it is beautiful and well worth a visit.
