Kids tickets at Dixie Stampede?

Does anyone know whether a 23 month old would need to buy a ticket at the Dixie Stampede? I don't see anything about kids' prices on their website. My son loves horses, so I was thinking he would go nuts over this, but I'm not sure whether he is really old enough to enjoy the dining experience.

From the Dixie Stampede website

• Children under 4 are free only if they sit in a parent's lap and eat from their plate. If you wish for your child to receive a seat or a meal, a regular children's admission will apply.

Thanks that's what I was looking for (couldn't find it on the website for some reason when I looked!). Has anyone had a child on their lap the whole show? I'm wondering if they would get bored. I have been to the one in Myrtle Beach, but I can't really remember how much room each person had.

We took our DD(at 23mo) to see Pirates. We didn't know that she wouldn't be fed, but at least she was given a booster and could see the show. I think it would have been more difficult with her on my lap. The seating was fixed bench style seating, sokKnowing what I know now, I would probably buy a child seat for her. I have not been to the Dixie Stampede so don't know if it is the same seating.

Hope that helps
