Hi!!

Just wondering if anyone can recommend any good onsite hotels at Universal Studios. We will be staying here for a few days and travelling with a 5 year old boy.

I had seen that Lowes offers a kids suite in the theme of Jurassic Park - has anyone stayed there before?

Thanks!!!

There are 3 onsite hotels. All of them are within walking distance to the parks or just a boat ride away. All of them give you unlimited Express Entry from the day you check in to the day you check out ( the 3 rides not included are-Forbidden Journey, Pteranadon Flyers, and Hollywood Rip Ride Rocket) You also get early entry for your stay. Here's is a link to tons of pictures kids suite which is at Royal Pacific Resort aka RPR
There is also Hard Rock Hotel-HRH
and The Portofino Bay-PBH

Read the stickies, use the search button and the trip reports. If you have specific questions feel free to ask but try and read through everything as well. There is a wealth of information on here. Have fun :thumbsup2

We booked a Jurassic Park Kid's Suite for our trip in late May of this year. If you go to oyster.com and pull up Universal's Royal Pacific Hotel and then go to pics, etc. they have several pics of the kid's suite on there. We are very excited!!!!

We stayed at Royal Pacific last year with our 6 and 8 year old and found that hotel to be the most kid friendly out of the three. Our children are very well behaved (so that's not what I mean w/ kid-friendly). What I mean is that they had a blast w/ the activities provided and we didn't have to worry about them overhearing any teen/ young adult language AND there were other kids to play with. It was also very adult friendly and this adult can't wait to lay by that beautiful pool again with an ice cold adult beverage!!!!

Good luck!!!!

Thank you so much for your help! I hope you enjoy your trip in May. We had been tossing up between the Hard Rock hotel but i think you are correct in saying about the teenagers/young adult language!

Did you book a room yet? I'm excited to hear what you decided.
