kids stay/play free park days?

How does this work? Do they automatically get "free" tickets for the whole number of days you will be staying, or is it something you need to request? Right now, we are really just going to relax and maybe hit a park for a day, so that is what is on our reservation, 1 day base tickets. I'm sure we'll end up deciding to go another day or two. I know I can add on tickets for dh and I whenever, I just want to make sure that isn't something we are supposed to do ahead of time for the kids tickets? I'd hate to get there and end up having to pay for extra days for the kids because I didn't request ahead of time. Help?

Okay, found this...
The free children's tickets are Base Tickets (admission to one theme park per day, with no park hopping) valid for the same number of days as any adult tickets purchased as part of the package.

Still don't know if that means I need to purchase more adult days ahead of time or if every time I decide to add another day while I am at Disney, the kids just get tacked on for another free ticket with every adult day I add?

I have not done this promo, but I would say it's best to decide now on how many days you will be in the parks and call to change your park tickets for that number of days.

Normally you are able to add park days at check in, this could be the case with this promo as well. I would hazard a guess that after check in adding more kids days would be difficult if not impossible.

Good luck! :wizard:

To get the free kid's days, they must be included in the package. Any ticket changes on site would be at normal current prices, even for the child's ticket.

The child ticket isn't actually a "free" ticket. The amount of the child's base ticket is what Disney is offering as the package discount.

Package changes should be done by your final payment time or shortly after to avoid any fees. You can make changes up to a few days ahead of your trip, but when adding to your package cost close to the trip date there is a $15 fee now, which they might or might not waive. Lowering the cost of your trip after final payment time is a higher fee.

I just spoke to Disney and they said you can change the tickets when you get there for no charge. As long as you add and pay for the adult tickets, the kids are automatically free regardless of your original package tickets. There would be a charge if you were adding hopper, etc. to their tickets. The cm I spoke to asked the manager and she also added notes to our reservations in case someone tried to tell us differently once we get there. She was really nice.
