According to Mousesavers the deal was a kids stay and play free package announcedto the general public on 1/3/11. It was for stays beginning 2/17/11 and ending 4/16/11. Packages had to be booked by 2/13/11. ( http://www.mousesavers.com/historicalwdwdiscounts.html#codetrends )

The hitch is that Easter is on April 8th in 2012. The week before and the week after would probably not be included in any kind of discount. So I wouldn't count on anything that goes into April at all.

There is already a free dining package deal that goes 1/8 - 3/31/12 that you would need to book by 12/17/11. Disney usually does not overlap their offers. In all likelihood, they will extend the booking window for the free dining instead of offering an entirely new package discount if they feel the need to.

I am with you, I am wanting to go back! We are looking at a parents only trip for maybe the end of January!!

I booked in March last year for our trip we went on in September and we got the kids stay and play free promo....it wasn't an AAA deal it was a general public deal via disney. Free dining is great and all but dosn't really "save" us much because we wouldn't buy the dining plan....it's too much food for us!

We booked this early in the year for September trip. Then added the dining plan. Still came out better than the free dining deal, lol.

free dining just isnt worth it with smaller kids for the quick service and i am just not organized enough to do dinner reservations 2 meals a day

Sorry. I thought that you were talking about "kids stay and play free" deal that was announced around this time last year.

Disney had several "stay and play free" deals last year. Check the link in my last post to see the dates that they were made available and the days that they were good for. Just remember that Disney may not offer the same deal again or they may change the rules (such as length of stay or the participating resorts).

Wouldnt it be nice if that were the "BIG" announcement on New Years Eve??? I would LOVE to see kids stay/play/dine free! Especially with what Im trying to plan! I dont remember, what were the stipulations of that promotion?
