Kids pin trading at the Contemporary?

The last time we were at WDW, there was a kids trading event on Friday nights at the Contemporary. There was a closed area where kids could trade up to 5 of their pins with pins on boards. No adults other than a couple of supervising cast members were allowed in the trading area. This was great for my young daughter who found trading with cast members intimidating.

There was also one on Thursdays at the All Star Resort

Does anyone know if they still do this??

I'm sure someone will know more details than I do, but here goes...
The weekly Contemporary Pin Nights have been discontinued. Last I heard, they are being done on a somewhat-monthly schedule in the Contemporary's Convention Center. The All-Stars weekly Pin Nights have also been discontinued.

There is some kind of Pin Jeopardy being done daily at 4pm out of the Disney souvenir store (World of Mickey?) that is closest to Mission:Space. The WOD store at DTD also does trading off of a board (open to all Guests) daily and Epcot's Pin Central sometimes brings out a pin-trading board. I havent' seen a kids' only section recently at any of the venues...

Thursday Night All Star Sports is gone. Unfortunately.

Friday night PT at the Contemporary is a scheduled event, to coincide with Pin releases. http://www.dizpins.com has information.

The pin board at MouseGears (in Epcot) was at 5PM last time I checked, but was, as previously mentioned, not limited to children.

Ya know in all the years of trading and going to WDW... I have only seen on tradeing board. And that was like 5 years ago. I always miss the good stuff.

I miss the good old days of meeting at the Contemporary or Polynesian or other location and trading and chatting and having fun until the early morning hours.
