We are thinking about getting the dining plan. At the time we go my nephews will be 10 & 12. I know for tickets to the park they are considered adults, but are they considered adults for the dining plan? There is no way either one of them will eat off the kids menu, they eat more than me! :rotfl: I just want to make sure we will be able to get them on the adult plan, otherwise it isn't worth it. Thanks!

Yes, a "Disney Adult" is an adult for both ticketing and dining plan purposes.

My sons are 12 and 14 and they eat more than me too!

Your situation sounds EXACTLY like mine! I'll be bringing my 2 nephews, ages 10 and 12 to WDW next month. I'm very happy the youngest is considered an "adult" because he and his brother have very big appetites! I know I'd have a very unhappy kid on my hands if he was forced to eat only chicken nuggets, mac & cheese and pizza from the kids menu, while his brother ate things like steak. The kids are SO excited to eat at all the restaurants we have ADRs.. and pick anything they want from the adult menu!

Technically, age 10-17 are "Junior", not "Adult" or "Child".

A "Junior" is treated as an "Adult" for park tickets and dining plan purposes, but as a "Child" for room occupancy. (Specifically, no extra charges for a 3rd or more "Adult" per room.)
