I know I've seen threads on this, but when I do a search for them nothing comes up (and I really didnt want to sit for hours searching).

Please only answer if you have used them (not wanting Judgment from those who dont agree w/ it).

We are going to be using KNO on the last night of our trip so we can have some adult time (celebrating our Anniversary 4 months late...but we couldnt celebrate on our anniversary or since). What all should I do prior to their arrival? We are thinking of having them come at like 6/7pm. Should we order a pizza and have it delivered to our room (we are at All Star Sports) for our kids and the sitter, or should we feed the kids b4 the sitter gets there? I know on the website it says they dont bathe, so we will be doing that b4 they get there. I just want to know what to expect and how to prep for them.

We used Fairy Godmothers, essentially the same thing.

We had reservations at California Grill for 8.00 and I wanted to leave our condo at 7.15

I had Vivien arrive at 7.00 pm she arrived a little earlier, with a bag of toys.

Because my boys are little, they were already fed and bathed and in bed for the youngest and heading there for the eldest. She seemed generally disappointed that they were going to be in bed.

We (my husband and I) did have a code word if for any reason either of us felt uncomfortable.

I guess it depends on your children and when the go to bed etc. Mine were use to eating early and I knew she would probably never be able to get the Seth to sleep as he was still being fed to sleep from Mummy.

I am assuming unless you tell them that you will supply her/him with dinner they will probably have eaten before they arrive.

I hope this is of some help.

I also used Fairy Godmothers when my DD was younger and I was quite happy with them. I would make sure that your kids are fed and bathed before you leave. I don't recall feeling like I had to feed the sitter.

We used Kids Nite Out last summer and had a great experience!! My DD9, DN9 and DN4 had a great time. I was a little worried because they have never stayed with anyone except family--they loved her!! She was a intern at Disney and was doing this on the side for extra money. She had lots of things for them to do. I left her money to order dinner in (we were staying in a rented house). She had questions for us before we left--bedtime, what they could order for dinner, allergies etc. I wound't think twice about using their service again!!:):)

We were gone from 4:00 to about 11:00. I left enough money for her dinner. I didn't feel obligated to do so, but I didn't feel comfortable with the kids eating and her just sitting there with no food.

When we used them (twice- they were awesome!!)
one of the times the kids were already fed; it was a later ressie
one of the times she took them with our permission to the foodcourt for dinner and then to play in the sand and on the playscape- this worked particularly well since we weren't ready yet and were about to be late for our V&A's ressie- eek!
