kids night out strict on age?

Do the kid have to be 4? I will have a 3 yr old who everyone already tells me she looks and acts 4. She is potty trained and loves her playschool at home. I hate to get in room babysitting if I could get her in one of the Kids Nights Out - i think she would love it.

If not and I have to do in room babysitting for one night - how do I make a ressie for one?

any formal childcare program has to be strict about age - otherwise their insurance would be invalidated if there was a problem. The adult to child ratios are set based on the age of the child.

Are you asking about the Disney Kid Clubs? If so, yes, they have to be at least 4 and potty trained. They can't take care of younger children, no exceptions.

I believe Fairy Godmothers and Kids Night Out take care of infant/toddlers, as well as school aged-children.

Kid’s Nite Out (800-696-8105 or 407-828-0920). If a babysitter is needed throughout your stay, the Walt Disney Company recommends utilizing the services of Kid’s Nite Out. Kid’s Nite Out Caregivers can provide one-on-one in-room childcare in the comfort of your Walt Disney WorldÒ Resort room or can just hang out with your family if you need a father’s/mother’s helper. The sitters are over the age of 18 years and are certified in child/infant CPR and basic first aid. Reservations can be made up to two months in advance and require at least a 24-hour notice.

Rates are based upon the number of children…

1 child - $14.00 per hour
2 children - $16.00 per hour
3 children - $19.00 per hour
4 children - 21.50 per hour
For groups or more than 4 children, please call Kid’s Nite for these rates
After 9:00 p.m., there will be an additional $2.00 an hour charge.
One-time transportation fee of $8 will be added to total bill.
All rates are hourly based, with a 4-hour minimum, and a one-time transportation fee. Cancellations require 4 hours notice to avoid the 4-hour charge. Advance reservations are required. Prices are subject to change without notice.
For childcare on Holidays and Special Events, rates are subject to change.

For kids night out or fairy godmothers there is no age requirement. They simply come to the resort room and babysit., They can stay in the room with age appropriate toys or activities or with your approval take older kids to the pool arcade et al.

They Kids Clubs are located at most of the deluxe resorts and are very strict about the age requirments. Children 4-12 years are accepted and must be potty trained.

I haven't used an in room sitter but we have used Simba's Clubhouse at the AKL and Neverland Club at the Polynesian and they were both terrific.

No - I would imagine they are comparable to the rest but to be sure why not just pick up the phone and call them! In fact I would call them all to get a feel for the people and a firm price quote before leaving my kids. JMHO but I visited all the child care centers I was interested in for a quite bit of time before leaving my girls as well.

I think FG is a bit less expensive....$12 an hour, plus a 4-hour minimum, plus $12 transportation fee. It was $60 for 4 hours.
