Ok this will be my first time using them. And i am worried. What t the chances i will come back to my room to find nanny and kids gone ? Do you ask the nanny for ID etc
Plz help ease my mind. I have to go to a mandatory conference and i have no other options given my kids are under 3.

We've used Kids Nite Out twice and they are HIGHLY professional. When our sitter arrived, she was wearing a Kids Nite Out shirt and had me fill out a ton of paperwork. They are the only Disney-approved in-room sitting service.

I used KNO several times when my daughter was younger and never had an issue. The women were always very professional and kind, and they came about 15 minutes prior to the appointed time to go over everything with me. The agency also conducts thorough background checks prior to employment. I don't hesitate recommending them.

We use them all the time - recommend them highly! Every one has also texted us pictures and updates at night, and responded promptly when I've had a question.

I used to be a KNO sitter. Rules are very specific. We could only take children to specific, parent-approved locations--NO POOLS or water. Safety is always the priority.

We used Kids Nite Out on our last trip with our twins 5 years old at the time. The lady came on time. She showed us her ID without us asking (I'm sure you can ask). She also gave us a policy form to sign about what they do and don't do (like they don't do anything water related). I don't think they would take them out of the room, you can always discuss your expectations with them, we did and the lady discussed her expectations as well. She described some of things she typically does with them such as in room dance party, coloring, and disney games. We discussed when we wanted them in bed and the bedtime routine. We also set up a Nest video camera on the desk so we could check in (DH was paranoid). And sure enough at one point they were dancing and singing and at another point just before 8pm, they were in bed with lights out, just a small light on with what looked like her in the corner reading. When we got back, sure enough they were in bed and asleep. The next day the kids said they had a blast and wanted to have her "visit" again. We did have to provide dinner for the kids and the sitter. We picked up a salad, some sandwiches and sides from the resort QS for her and the kids since we had the sitter in the evening for longer than 3 hours. It all worked out very well.

Sincere thanks for all the feedback. This really has calmed down my fears and i can look forward to our vacation.

Great to read all these posts! We too are hoping to use this service during our trip in November and I keep going back and forth but I would love a night out with the hubby by ourselves :D
