Kids Night out Babysitting

We just got back- and I just wanted to let you know what a fabulous experience we had with Kids Nite out. I was a bit hesitant about leaving my dd2 with someone I didn't know. We were staying at the CR and had dinner at the California Grill so we weren't far from our room. Our sitter showed up promptly wearing the uniform purple shirt with a name tag. She brought a bag of tricks to keep my dd entertained. She also had a sheet that was thought out regarding our contact numbers, allergies etc.... My dd was happy as a clam when we returned from dinner ( i didn't have the sitter try and put her to sleep). I am drawing a blank on the poor woman's name. I have Tanya stuck in my head, but I can't recall. I would use them again in a heartbeat.

I would like to share that my wife and I also had a very good experience with Kids Nite Out. We had an early 20's female, college student studying child psychology as our children's babysitter. She brought the age appropriate toys as was mentioned on the website, and had the kids to bed on time. Our son (whose english was the best of the two at the time) said that he liked her and had no complaints.

We used Kid's Nite Out also and were pleased. DS is autisic spectrum and did very well.

Does anyone know if KNO or FG also work off site? I have friends that are staying at Sheraton's Vistana Resort (down the road from DTD on 535).

KNO is not run by Disney so I can't imagine that they would be limited to onsite. THey have other locations so I would try it.

We used them on our September trip this year and were also pleased. We had Sommer as our sitter and she was friendly and very conscientious about our son's food allergies. The price wasn't much more than we pay for drop-in evening childcare here in Minneapolis and the quality of care was much, much higher. I think we'll be using them regularly going forward.
