Experiences will vary but I used Kids Nite Out in 2011 as DD was only 15-months-old and I wanted to hit the headlining attractions (The Mountains, Soarin', EE, RnRC) at each park. Her sitter was a 22-year-old girl in her senior year of the Nursing program at UCF; that won huge points with me as I too am a nurse. She arrived about 15 minutes prior to her scheduled time of 4pm and I took that time to introduce her to the baby, go over the schedule I had made, and showed her where everything in the room was located. I returned at 11:30pm to a peacefully sleeping baby and a girl sitting in the dark studying via a book light. I had left the sitter money for dinner (as the "rules" state) but she only used the amount it had cost to feed the baby, the remaining change and receipt were on the table. She had a checklist of sorts of what they had done: playground, walk around the grounds, dinner, etc. Truly, she was wonderful and as I'm THAT Mom who doesn't like to leave her child in the care of others it settled my nerves that she was so well taken care of.
