My DD4 (we think has Asperger's) and I have been looking at the kids menu and I don't think she'll eat anything on it. She is very particular and has sensory issues and right now the only thing she'll eat is soup. Is there soup on the kid's menu? We are going to Akershus, Crystal Palace and Chef Mickey's and I wonder if she'll even eat. I'm trying to decide what to do.

Have you looked at the Allearsnet.com site? It gives complete menu's for all meals at all restaurants. I would suggest when you call and make ADR's, let them know that there is a dietary problem, and that your daugther will only eat soup. I'm sure they can accommodate! Good Luck!

The site also has a Disabilities information area. Hope this helps!

Hi... you do need to do some research here... both Crystal Palace and Akershus are buffets... I looked at menu's and suggest you do as well. I really did not see soup per se....and if that is all she is going to eat, do you want to pay a buffet price for her. It does say that if you have special dietary needs that you can contact dining and make special arrangements, I would pursue that if I were you...

Check these pages and go to the appropriate places..i.e. resorts for resort dining and parks for park restaurants......the menus are there for you to look at:

Wow thats difficult well one place that I saw defanitely had soup was PT in MGM..I believe if you let the waiter know up front they may be able to help you..

Oh by the way I noticed alot of TS places have soups on the appetizer menu maybe you can order those for her meals..They may not always be soups you would buy for her at home but I bet she may eat them..

I have a DD8 with autism and she has several sensory issues and will only eat a limited number of things. DH suggested that if your daughter eats canned soup, you can bring it with you and the restaurants will heat it for you. I have brought in food for my daughter and all of the restaurants have been very nice about warming it for her.

As a side note, I have found that my daughter does not really eat while in the parks. She becomes so overstimulated that at times we cannot get her to even eat her very favorite things. However, when we return to the room and she calms, she will eat like she is starving. You may want to have a food option in the room for her.
