This has likely been discussed before but i'm hoping for some updated replies.....

Do you or your kids, have a favorite place for kids meals in the parks?

Any update where kids meals still include a plastic souvenir cup, plate or lunchbox?

Any new food choices that you've discovered?

Thx so much for any feedback!

Do you mean TS or CS meals? Anyway, here are some of my niece and nephews' (ages 5 and 8) favorites:

MK: Caseys hot dogs. We would buy them a hot dog and then walk up to the top of the train station. There are tables and chairs up there, and good people watching.
MGM: Anaheim Produce Company, for fresh fruit, yogurt, and pretzels. Shady picninc area, not usually crowded. On the road to TOT.
AK: Tusker House, for yogurt and fresh fruit.

Their favorite TS places are the Brown Derby, Artist Point, and California Grill.

I don't remember them getting a souvenir cup or plate anyplace, CS or TS. Off site, Sharks Grill at Sea World gave them cup covers in the shape of a great white shark.

I am not sure what PP was asking, but I was thinking there were places where kids lunch would be served in a sand pail, or other cutsie type things.

Kids meals as lots of locations have the plastic Mickey shaped "plates". They have the large center circle and two small circles a the top making it into a Mickey. My husband thought I was crazy for wiping them out and putting them down in the backpack to take home.

At the Animal Kingdom, the Restaurantasaurus (is that how you spell it?) in Dinoland serves a McDonald's chicken nugget kids meal. It actually comes with a dinosaur toy.

At the Sci-Fi Dine In, our son ordered the kids meal and it came with a souvenier type cup. We purchased a glowing ice cube for just a little extra.

At the Caribbean Beach Resort, the kids chicken strip meal comes in a plastic sand pail with a shovel. Great for playing with on the beach.

I am trying to remember where else we have eaten that the kids got to bring home a little something extra but I can't think of any others right now. Mybe some other posters will help out.

Have a fun trip, Lisa

Popcorn comes in a bucket, not a meal but sure makes a great snack to tote back to your room! LOL

At blizzard beach & typhoon lagoon the kids meal come in a small bucket.

At Seaworld you get a Shamu lunch box.

To the OP - I'm wracking my brain trying to remember but I am almost positive there aren't any places where kids meal come in a special container (aside from the Mickey shaped plate.) We were in the water parks last summer and I looked for the pail lunch and didn't see it offered. Maybe it's only offered at certain counters?

As a pp said, you can get popcorn in a souvenir bucket or drinks in a suvenir cup.

Have a great time!

The only place that we found that served Chicken Nuggets for a kids meal in MK was the Starlight Cafe. Everyplace else had cold chicken pieces (yum  ).

This was in January, so it may have changed.

I haven't run into any kids meals in the parks that have been served in some kind of souvenier container. In Epcot they used to serve the drinks in an Epcot kid cup but they haven't done that in a long while. We get kids meals all the time for DD and it seems that all the cutesy things with the kids meals are now gone. Sorry.

Mickeystoontown, I was thinking that we should keep the plates as I was reading your post, my kids would love to use them at home! :thumbsup2 I'm sure my husband will be gining me the same look!

We kept a bunch of them. They are great for fries, chicken nuggets, hot dogs and corn dogs. The two ears are perfect for ketchup and mustard.

MY DD's favorite kids' meal this January was at the Plaza restaurant- she got tomato soup, grilled chicken skewers, and the Mickeylodeon sundae for dessert. The kid LOVES tomatoes, and had never had such yummy tomato soup.

Thanks for the replies, everyone!

Anyone else?
