Kids meals/Counter Service

Someone just reminded me that the last time we were in Dis (2.5 yrs ago) the counter service credits were all pooled, with no distinction as to kids or adult.

Is this how it still is?

This would totally sell me on my decision to go with the QS plan or not as my 8yo would much rather eat adult food than nuggets and pizza twice a day.

Anyone know how it works now??
