Kids "meal plus" deal question.

These meal cupons sound like a great deal!

Do the kids meals for $5.99 still come with the ice cream and water cupons?

Yes, they do.
We've haven't tried them yet either, but am looking forward to it on our trip in 8 days!(YES)

I hope it's true an they have them at MK now, as well as AK.

We did this in AK back in May and it was wonderful. You already know your child is going to ask for popcorn or ice cream (at least I know mine does). What a great deal. They also have it for adults for $11.99.

I am glad to see they started doing this in MK, I wish they had it there back in May. Have a great trip

Where would you be able to get ice cream later in the day at MK? I was just wondering if it's a bar from one of the carts or if you could get a scoop from a counter service place. Thanks!

I would think that you could probably use it at one of those ice cream shops on Main Street. Don't they have a Nestle Ice Cream shop right at the end?

The way it works is you purchase the "meal plus" and they give a coupon for your entree and drink to use at that time, and two other coupons, one to use for either a box of popcorn or ice cream and the one to use for either a bottle of water or soft drink, you must use these two coupons on that same day. There are four places iin AK that can purchase this, Pizzafari, Flame Tree BBQ, Tusker House and I am not sure what the other is. Check out mousesavers.com I believe it lists all four restaurants.

Since they did not have this at MK when I was there I cannot comment on which restaurants would participate.

I will tell you that it is a great deal. I purchased this for my daughter and did not cost me any more money. I knew she would ask me for either ice cream or popcorn anyway, so she had to choose between the two, but it was such a hot day that the ice cream was just great. They even put it in a waffle cone. So you can imagine how big of an ice cream it was. They will give you dish if you don't want the cone.

What are the portion sizes like on the kiddies meals, my DW does not eat a lot especially at lunchtime, would she be able to have a
childs `meal plus` or not.

awatt - I am not sure where you can purchase them in MK, they did not have them there at the time of my trip, although, I am sure someone will be able to tell on these boards. If you don't here before your trip, when you check into your resort ask at Guest Services, they should be able to help you out.

Katies Dad - the kids portion are plenty big enough for an adult, especially if you are not a big eater. The pizza we had at Pizzafari in AK was the same size for adult vs child portion. It roughly the same size as a personal pan pizza from pizza hut, if you are familiar with that.
