I found this item on line and need some more information on it:

My kids all want their OWN water bottles (of course they don't want to carry them and they don't want to share for fear of GERMS!!!) :confused3

I was considering a fanny-pack for each of them to carry their own "stuff". Since this has a pocket, would this be a good alternative to a fanny pack? I was looking for a fanny pack with a water bottle holder.

Here's the stupid question:  Do they wear this on their back or chest? If on their back, that might defeat the easy access to their little pocket.

Anyone ever used one of these before? Any input would be appreciated. :thumbsup2

It is worn on the back. I think they would be a pain to have to take on and off every time you want to sit down comfortably.

How old are your kids? They might change their thoughts on sharing after a day of carrying a water bottle. Fanny packs worked well for my girls when they were younger. My almost 10 year old would DIE before putting one on her body. My almost 8 year old doesn't like them either. They like messenger style bags if they carry something.

I think they wear that on the back. At least that's what it looks like to me and I also don't think there is alot of room in there for anything else. It says An internal security pocket with tethered key clip stores ID, cash and other small essentials
Outside mesh overflow pocket lets kids stash a banana or energy bar.
I got a fanny pack from walmart that comes with 2 water bottles for our trip to WDW. I don't remember the price but I know it wasn't expensive.

I called the number on their website and the man said they are worn on the back, which means it would be a pain to take on and off to get "stuff" from the zipper compartment. I think we are back to fanny packs w/ water bottle holders.

I'll be searching Walmart, Dollar Tree, Dollar General and other stores this weekend to see what they have.... I'm looking to make my own autograph books for the kids too. :wizard:

They also sell waterbottle lanyard holders at the park with a character topper. DH and I usually wear cargo shorts, as does DS5, so anything that he wants to carry goes in a pocket.

Go to Amazon and search for camel back. They sell a fanny pack version that carries a water bladder in the back of it and there is room in the front for other things. They are also called lumbar packs.
