Kids go back to school today....

....and MY vacation starts! It's going to be 70* here in Maine- I have the day (week!) off and the kids have to go back to school, life is good! I love 'em- but it'll be nice to be ALONE!

I know what you mean! I hope it really does hit 70 degrees. You never know around here, though. I plan on raking leaves out of my garden, or the patch of ground that I plan on planting flowers in soon. So nice to see the SUN!

I too was doing the "happy dance" this morning getting my DS ready for school! He said to me "gee Mom, you're in a good mood today." Yep, sure was!

I still have the little rug rat here though! But life is easier with just one around than the 7 y/o that keeps saying "I'm bored! I don't know what to do!" (All our neighbors were on vacation so poor little guy had no one to play with the whole week!)

Wasn't the weather depressing last week? I even put shorts on- hoping to get a little color on my WHITE legs. As soon as the sun comes around to my deck, I am outside!!

is here on the couch after I received "the call" from the school nurse. Ah well, one more day....

Jacob is the little boy that is to young for pre school or anything else.....and we went for a walk....got a naughty donut...blew some bubbles and he forgot to blow out.....(yuck....he gagged) and then came in ...all windows are opened....and the air is sooooo sweet..looked at the 12 lilac trees and they are budded.....then the four cherry trees ..the bracketts are mega this year....and then our new little pear tree.....doing good from what I saw.....I LOVE THIS time of year in maine....but then the black flies and monster mosquitos come and get us.....have a good day everyone

I sent my oldest back to school this morning thinking I could get back into my walking routine(I can still put my youngest in a stroller). Wouldnt you know I got a call around 12:00, saying his tummy hurt and he wanted to come home. I never did get my walk in. ARGH!!!
