We just got back a few hours ago and was reading through some posts! I know I have a zillion other things I should be doing!

Here is Dallas with the sewing machine! Probably the only boy we'll see with it. He was more then happy to pose with it, loves it when I sew!

This is the only picture I put in photobucket right now and he hardly wore his customs. I never even put Peter Pan on him. I am so weird and never like mine unless they are with the jeans! And just TOO HOT for jeans! We did the NBC for the party only and he was okay with the jeans!

I love this NBC set! Great job!

I saw her in that outfit at chef mickeys on our last day there. She looked so adorable. I felt like a dork going up and saying hi but my mom made me. Throught our trip i would point out the customs to my mom and dh. Dh kept yelling "Disboard Rule". It was funny. By the end my 2 year old would randomly yell it. :rotfl2:

Here is a few pics from our trip earlier this month. We had a great time and got many compliments on our shirts and dd dress.

Thanks again to Nana (Nanascustomcreations) for my dd dress!!!! :cheer2:

Great pics!

Does anybody know if any stores have McCall's patterns on sale? I know that Hancock's had them on sale a week or so ago but my DD decided that she wanted to be Island Princess Barbie after they went off sale. I don't want to pay $17.00 for the pattern when I know all stores will put them on sale for .99 cents and $1.99.

I know that Joann's is having a Colombus day sale starting Saturday the 6th and the patterns will be 1.99. Hope this helps

:welcome: We have a whole lot of skirt patterns and tutorials in teresajoy's bookmarks (link in my siggy). But, you're not allowed to look at them until you post pictures of those Ariel twirl skirts!!! ;)

I would post pics but I have NO idea how. I just figured out how to post a message:confused3 Thanks for those bookmarks! They are excellent!!!

This one is "To Die for" in person!!! Obsessedwiththe Mouse made this for me!!

I have seen the origional of this and fell in love with it and have a DCL officers jacket that is just dying to get "cut up". I was thinking of starting this yesterday, but I'm going to wait until we schedule our next cruise and make it for then. Great Job!!!

Okay, so I am finally able to share these. sorry no model. She is not interrested. Also I couldn't get the photos to resize...usually not a problem??

Wow It is just like the Pettiskirt from :wizard: She did a great job recreating it. Is she going to wear it to the big game? What fabric is used to make the pettiskirts? I love the way they look. THey look softer than the tulle.

These jeans are really cute! Did you make them? Or did Obsessedwiththemouse make them too? The letters on the jeans are so perfect! You did a great job. When is the big game? Be sure to post a photo from the game.

These look Fantastic. The appliques are perfect. I would love to CASE these with GO Air Force but I don't think they would fit on the jeans.:) We cheer for whoever will help Air Force win the Commander in Chief's Trophy. (although it has gone to Navy now for the last couple of years, when my DH was at the AFA they won it every year).

Thank you so much!! I looked at the JoAnn's website but didn't see anything about it!

The flyer I got in the mail says that McCall's will be $1.99 Oct. 6-8 for the Columbus Day Sale. Good luck with your costume.

Cute outfits, but isn't it the other way around...........Go ARMY, Beat Navy??

Here are pics of DD in her outfit for MK and MGM, we are doing both in one day and I didn't feel like hauling an extra outfit to the parks.
I hope to never do a patchwork twirl again! This was my first and I found it quite painful.

If anyone needs a nylon chiffon source for pettiskirts, try Muriel Roy:
www dot murielroy dot com
There are 22 colors. It's 54" wide and sells for 2.75. The shipping is reasonable too.

This is my latest t-shirt/ribbon/applique project. I've gotten better with the curves but the full circles still don't like me.

Oh yes it was definatey a close copy to Voldemorts version. (Although one sold on there for 660, and the other for 500 I think) I bought the pettiskirt last year to go under DD's Christmas dress. I think it is more like a slip than a pettiskirt!! Won it on :wizard:

Big game is first Sat in December. Can't wait to go!! My grandmom is having ticket issues this year, so even if we don't go, we are stilll having a big party!!

Obsessed with the Mouse only made the top. The jeans are made from afar...can't share, she isn't doing it anymore...sorry!!

Navy has won the trophy the last 4 years in a row. They also beat Army last 4 years. I actually felt sorry for those seniors of Army, they didn't get to beat navy once. I think you could squeeze Go Air Force on a pair of jeans! these applique letters are huge. Just do them smaller.

Cute outfits, but isn't it the other way around...........Go ARMY, Beat Navy??

NO NO NO

Definately GO Navy!!!!

I think you have to have more posts before they let you do pictures. Hey, we used to live in Milton!

Great Pics!! How were the family shirts done?? They look great!! Did you notice my name....CheleLynn2, I had to look twice at your post, I was like hey? I don't have that many kids, and wow look at the weight I lost. :lmao:
My name is Michele, my goddaughter always called me Chele because she couldn't say my name right, and my middle name is Lynn. I am guessing you are a Cheryl??

I walked into Hancock Fabrics yesterday and there was a sign on the door for patterns $1.99, but I don't remember which ones. :confused3 I am sorry, I need to pay better attention when I am out an about, but I was on a mission to find fray check on my lunch break. :rotfl:
