No, Mommy the King has already seen my dress. I need a new one!

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I think she deserves one for that answer! I have a month.

:rotfl: LOL, that's too cute! And I think you're right - she deserves another one just for that answer!

We weren't planning a Princess meal this next trip, but I'm wondering if we should now. I really loved the Norway one. Even though they didn't have Ariel, and had ALICE!!! (although, I really liked Alice, she and Jasmine got into a fight about which one was the most popular. It was very funny.) We are planning Chef Mickey's, because Heather has NEVER been there! Can you believe it???

She looks cute!! Great job, I really like the style of that dress.

How wonderful!!! I'm glad she got so much extra attention!!! She looks beautiful!!! And, I love the Crocs!

That is just TOOO cute!!!!

JMO- I really like the Epcot breakfast. We are doing lunch next time in hopes of seeing Ariel with walking feet. DD says walk in toes instead of bare feet! It is my favorite baby thing she says.

Also, 1900 Park Faire is really nice. DH loved loved loved the food there. He said that and Crystal Palace was his food favorite. We are going to do Chef Mickey's again but boy is it a zoo! I still loved it.

Thanks about the Sock Monkey. I cut the fabric for a halloween dress too. I am going to put a long sleeve white shirt underneath and found the cutest trick or treat sweater at Marshalls. Now I just super cool tights!

The crocs were too funny! I almost bought her blue crocs. I figured she could wear them too school but I stopped myself. The green ones are her princess crocs. They have all the princesses on them. Those jibbitz I refer to as "croc crap!"

Oh, gosh, are those people in that photo from Playhouse Disney supposed to be the Einsteins???? Are they the same at Hollywood and Vine with dining with the Einsteins???? If they are, I will have to cancel...my DGD loves LOVES the little Einsteins...the cartoon ones with the big heads and all she talks about is eating with the Einsteins when we go in Sept.

I was going to make her an Einstein outfit....anyone know if the characters are real people????

Here's a pic of my VERY FIRST Disney custom! Really love the Pooh Toile. I have a PILE of fabric waiting for the next 3 outfits I'm going to make for our trip in Nov! This one was just for fun - as well as a trial run for "the real outfits!" (Hope the picture works!)

If this is just a trial run, I can't wait to see "the real thing"!!

I finally finished my Tinkerbell shorts. I have an appliqued shirt coming to match them.

These are just amazing!! I really want to make something in this style for DD, but it doesn't appeal to her at all. Maybe I need some of these for myself, hmmm...

I really love that orange dot fabric! I also really like the style of the neckline with the ric rac.

Here is what I have been working on this weekend. This is DD's sock monkey dress for her very first day of school.

I just love this with all the fabrics and the style is great! :thumbsup2

Here is our day at the Ren Fest.

Wow...sorry it was so hot but the pics are absolutely amazing. And your DD got knighted??? Fantabulous!!!! I love her dress you made and she is just adorable!!
DD, who's 2, is playing with some scraps of fabric, "cutting" them, then folding them up for her baby dolls. She's even pretending to print out a receipt. DH is thinking it's time for an intervention!

Hi, my name is Lori and I'm a fabricaholic.
:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Where did you get the "yo ho yo ho" and the "x.....mickey head"? Did you make it? Embroider it? It's very, very cute!
Hi RevRob...thanks about the outfit...nothing original....all CASED! I simply cut out a red mickey head and a red "x" , zig-zaged over the edges. Then for the black lines I zig-zaged them too. Whaaa laaaa...pirate map. Easy peasy mac and cheesy!
I put some bows on Lydia's dress, put in another row of shirring, and stuck her tutu on underneath to give it some POOF
PrincessDress003.jpg
Wow I liked it before but now its stupendous!!! :cool1: :thumbsup2

Here's what I got done on Friday night:

Great job!

COLOR="DarkOrange"]Awesome work!! I love the patch with the Yo Ho!
Thanks!!!

Love these! I may have to CASE the overalls for my nephew.
That would be "re-casing"....is that like refried beans??? :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I love the back to school dress! That apple fabric is adorable and the chalkboard with her name on it is so creative and cute too.
Thanks!!!

Here's a pic of my VERY FIRST Disney custom! Really love the Pooh Toile.
Excellent job! I love the toille and the checks! :thumbsup2

Very creative...love it!
Hi All, We are back from our 1 day vacation! LOL..
Wow glad you are having a good time and the girls look so cute!

You're welcome. I'm watching it...What are the other 3 (keywords are fine)...I looked through resells last night and I didn't see anything I was jumping on....Although I was feeling cheap I won 4 auctions yesterday and one of them was a pettiskirt (kaiya eve). I didn't expect to win it for real so it was a pleasant but $$ surprise (although less than full price.) I always scan resells sometimes there are some great deals.

I've watched a few pettiskirt listings, too, but never have bid on one. I've been thinking Zoe'd love one so I'm hoping to have one to give as a birthday gift. Not that she's have anywhere to wear it, really, but I'm sure we can make a date just as a good reason for her to wear it. LOL

Here are the keywords:
1) Custom Boutique resell mickey holiday set 12-18M
2) Beautiful Custom Made Cinderella Twirl Skirt Set
3) Custom Boutique MISS MOUSE 4 4t Minnie RESELL

This may be a sign that I spend WAY too much time at the fabric stores. . .

Hi, my name is Lori and I'm a fabricaholic.

That is perfect! How cute and totally appropriate pretend play. Wouldn't your DH rather DD mimic that than a liquor store or something? LOL

She said . . .

No, The Little Einsteins at the Buffet and in MGM DO NOT look like that. I have pics if you want to see them. They are the cartoon characters with the big heads.

I had to laugh at my DD this morning. She was strolling up Mainstreet toward the castle (In her "mommy made" Tinkerbell set) and turned around and looked at me and with a completely straight face says "No Photos please". (So much for not speaking the language :lmao: )

Did you use just two bandanas for each skirt? I'm gonna try those!

Love the sock monkey! But, I'm really loving the ren fest pics, especially with Robin Hood... he's my favorite!!!!!!!!!!!!

This may be a sign that I spend WAY too much time at the fabric stores. . .

Ok, back up here. CastleCreations the skirts your DD's are wearing are adorable. And they are bandanas? Do tell, I think I missed the directions for those and they are so CUTE!!!!!

Please do tell

I know that this picture is super huge . . .

I wanted to make a spread sheet to keep all of my projects organized. I have to get back to work on Sept. 1st. Boo hoo!!! So I will have to be really careful with my time.

I started to make a spreadsheet but it was really boring so I made this. I am going to change the clip aret and color of border to reflect the theme. I also am going to add photos of the fabric.

I thought when they are printed out it would make a pretty cool sewing journal. I could add photos of the clothes too.

If you would like a copy I would be happy to send it to you. You have to have Microsoft Publisher to use my "spread sheet." You can edit it with your info but it only will work with Publisher.

email me at agomberg@theaimeegombergcollection.com (I know it is long.)

aimeeg, that is a really cool idea to keep a sewing journal! I'm going to have to lift that idea from you - that way I can store all my ideas in one place rather than on 14,000 pieces of scratch paper.

I'm fairly new to DIS, so I'm still learning how to navigate here. I keep seeing you ladies post something about bookmarks when you want to save something like directions. Where can I find this?

I'd also like to post some photos of my creations, but it says on the page I MAY NOT add attachments. How do I fix that?

TIA

I live about 45 minutes north of Steph, but my DH was playing an accoustic gig at an internet cafe closer to where she lives...luckily I persuaded her and her DH to come check him out and swap the fabrics.
And, someday, I hope to get out and see your DH too. :thumbsup2

I just bought that Miss Mouse 4 4t Minnie set. That is stunning! After my meager attempt at applique yesterday, I KNOW that the work on Minnie alone was worth that price. Thanks for posting the keywords.

If you will go to the very first post of this thread, towards the botttom of the post there are two links - they are in bold type. One is a link to a photobucket account where all of the pics of everything from this thread have been posted. That way, you won't have to dig through almost 800 pages to find a pic of something that you want to look at again.
Under that link is a link that I believe says BOOKMARKS or something similar. If you click on that link, there are tons of bookmarks inside it that are links to all kinds of ideas, resources, patterns & such. It is a VERY valuable tool. Just about anything that has been discussed in this thread is there. The author does such a FABULOUS job of keeping it up. I'd be lost without it!

Can't find the 3rd one, The pettiskirt was a complete splurge:rotfl: She won't wear it for a long time but it was NWT and someone I felt comfortable buying from and still less than full price, gotta love a bargain:rotfl2:

Nevermind...if you don't mind pm me the completed auction. I'd love to see it anyway :)

No, they are not. When we went there we saw JoJo, Goliath, Leo and June:

This is such a good idea! I have a little notebook where I tape fabric pieces and write notes about what to buy. You made a cool keepsake!

And, someday, I hope to get out and see your DH too. :thumbsup2

That would be really cool! We could have a DIS party and rock out!
