We leave in 3 weeks and we have the regular dining plan for 4 adults and 2 kids age 7. My question is can I upgrade them if I choose too? Also I know they wouldn't get dessert can I buy that OOP ? My son is a very picky eater so him having to order from the kids menu is not a problem he might want a dessert and I was curious either way my daughter loves to eat when we are there so I was wondering if it was possible.

I'm guessing that really won't work out financially reasonable when you factor in you would have to upgrade their park tickets to adult to upgrade their DDP to adult. I think you would definitely be losing money in the end.

And yes,you can always pay OOP separately for whatever you want.

Don't do that! You're throwing your money away. Drop the plan entirely and pay oop. You'll save a fortune.

If you have free dining, then the upgrade is not that expensive. You just have to pay the ticket upgrade which isn't very much. If you're paying for dining, then it would not be cost efficient to do the upgrade.

Thank you. I just got the regular dining plan I don't think I will upgrade them since my son is a very picky eater. I will just pay out of pocket for a dessert if they wish to have one. We never used the DDP so we wanted to give it a try and see if it would work for us on future vacations.

Oh I will I am excited to use it for the first time. I don't have to worry now about paying for food unless I want to pay extra and it leaves alot of room to play if I wanted to souvenirs etc.. The only thing that bothered me was I thought the kids didn't get a dessert but I see that is not true
