If you are on the dining plan, is the only way for your child to get a dessert is to chose the chocolate chip cookie as their side? I'm assuming they cannot have a cupcake based on the pre order menu? And I assume there is no way to make any actual notes, your only options are what is in the drop down menu? Broccoli is an option as a side for some kids meals, but of course not for the one we would like to order :) We will survive all of this, I was just curious if there was any options I didn't know about.

This isn't related to the kids menu but the BOG adult menu... can you swap the soup here (potato leek) for desert?

Just a note- you can make changes to your order when you get to BOG where you pay (or in your case use dining plan credits). They may allow the broccoli side then. Also they can do the substitutions with the soup/dessert if allowed. I don't know if that is allowed - sorry. You can pay out of pocket for cupcake for kids if you want also. Save the free cookie for a later snack or something.

At lunch the cookie would be the dessert for the kids' meals. If you want a cupcake for your child you can use a snack credit or pay OOP.

Soup is listed as a dessert choice on the adult menu so you can choose it.

Or, if you are on DDP, order for the kids from the adult menu with the QS credits at lunch. Boom, they get a cupcake.

One order of the pork is enough for two kids to share. Heck, enough for two adults. Use a snack credit for a second cupcake, then use the conserved QS credit later for three snacks somewhere else.
