We will be staying at POP in November and I was wondering if the kids are able to get ice cream for their quick service meal dessert. I have read that adults can but I know most places don't give the kids nearly as many options. Are they stuck with a cookie while hubby and I enjoy sundaes or can they get their own. Actually we all know it would never work like that if they don't get their own they will be eating mine which is my concern LOL. Just to be clear I don't want to use a snack credit I'm talking dessert as part of their qs meal. Thanks.

In my opinion, kids don't really get a dessert unless you call a cookie dessert since Disney QS doesn't really offer them anything. In August, the CMs at the icecream stand allowed my husband to split his icecream into 2 containers. Essentially you get 2 scoops for dessert. He gave my son one scoop and he ate the other. The CMs had no problem putting them in separate cups. You might ask if you think this would work for you.
