Here is the contract that we used with our DDs last year. They loved it! (I can't remember where I got this but thanks to the person who wrote it.)
Princess-in-Training Royal Rules of Behavior
In exchange for being swept away on magical, fairy-tale adventure with my family, I agree to behave in a manner befitting a Princes-in-Training.
1. Princesses don’t whine or pout. I won’t whine or pout while at Walt Disney World. Anyone caught whining will be forced to pay the Fairy Godmother $1.00
2. I will follow the plan my very smart Fairy Godmother has set forth for me. Wishes and dreams cannot come true without following the plan and the royal rules.
3. I agree not to wear myself out speaking with loyal subjects, visiting their homes. I will notify my Fairy Godmother or Prince Charming when I become tired. Because I get to stay in this enchanted land for 7 days, I know my Royal Court will allow me to have a delightful time, if I am rested.
4. In order to keep my musical singing voice in tune and a pleasant disposition, I promise to drink lots of water to stay hydrated and cool in the brilliant Florida sun and apply plenty of sunscreen, according to my Fairy Godmother’s wishes.
5. I agree to be ready to step into my Royal Coach (at the bus stop) when my Fairy Godmother or Prince Charming says it’s time to go.
6. The Princess-in-Training and her Royal Court will follow the plan, follow the plan, follow the plan....
7. A Princess must be able to find her way out of any kingdom or forest. While the chance of being separated is very small, I will wear an identification (ID) bracelet engraved with Mom & Dad’s cell phone numbers whenever I leave the resort room. If we are separated, I will go to the nearest Mommy with children or Cast Member and ask them to call. At no time whatsoever will I remove a bracelet from my ankle other than in the safety of my royal suite (resort room).
8. Princesses-in-training walking long distances must wear sensible shoes. Even though a Princess loves to wear glittery, shiny shoes to the ball, she knows that those shoes will make her feet hurt walking long distances. Water shoes can be worn at the resort pool. Otherwise this princess-in-training will wear comfortable shoes with sock or sandals that she can walk five miles per day without creating blisters.
9. For maximum time to explore the kingdoms and their lands, Royal Decree states, when one member of the Court goes to the bathroom, all members of the Royal Party must go (to the bathroom, that is).
10. I will not irritate my Fairy Godmother or Prince Charming.
11. A “One Foot Rule” shall be in effect whenever a Princess leaves her Royal Resort Suite. All persons in the Royal Party shall keep one foot on the ground at all times. The only exception is when someone enters a vehicle or ride. When this rule is broken, the offender must hold Fairy Godmother’s hand until she says it’s okay to let go.
12. Those who do not abide by the Royal Behavior for Princesses-in-Training Rules will be forced to return to a dark, cool, dungeon (resort room) for the remainder of the day.
I hereby agree to abide by the Princess in Training Royal Rules of Behavior
